This has come as a shock, I knew he was suffering but still believed he could pull through, a truely talented snooker player, and such a loss to the sport, I was lucky enough to meet the man a couple of years ago, and would like to send my condolances to his wife and family...

Agreed. Very sad and shocking news. Mrs SHRLFC is a big snooker and Paul Hunter fan and it was a total shock when I had to tell her last night. I presumed he was making a recovery some sort.

It's quite bizarre to hear of these kinds of things. Tragic although sadly seemingly more common nowadays. The big "C" seems to co-exist even better in modern society than it used to.
