Hey Guys,
I'm opening up this thread to get some discussion going from some more knowledgeable editors of RC2 than me, as well as to ask if anyone has a couple of patches that I haven't been able to get access to from the Sidhe forums (which my account there still hasn't been activated....).
Basically, I'm a long standing FIFA editor and I did manage to get the Lions Tour and the Ten Nations activated into Rugby 08. So I'm hoping that's enough street-cred.
What I'm looking to do in RC2 is mainly what I do in FIFA; add more national teams. I'm currently using the last version (V3-AIO) of bric6's mod + the RSA Commentary by the guys who made the Currie Cup mod (so all credits go to them for that), but I've made changes to the national team rosters; expanding the 6 and 4 Nations teams to 39 players as well as combing through the club rosters to get to licensed players for the rest of the generic national teams. + I've added Sonny Bill Williams to the ABs.
Aside from that I still have a few questions to ask about quite a few things:
1. Faces
What is the definitive list of real faces and their required files in RC2?
There are the following files that I know of:
head_dif_###.pssg
head_spc_###.pssg
hair .pssg files
skin_dif_###.pssg
But I don't know what are the players that each ID number refers to. It would be good to have a comprehensive list. The only face ID I know is SBW which is 249.
Also, apparently RC1 faces are compatible with RC2 faces. Is there a list of the faces and Face ID#s from that game?
Are there any specific South African players' faces made for RC2?
2. New National teams and New Nationalities
I've seen that there is a patch with all 100 national teams affiliated to the IRB:

Does anyone still have that mod, and if so, can they please upload it somewhere!?!
Failing anyone being able to upload that patch; How can I add new national teams?
For my own patch, I want to add at least the following national teams, whose nationalities have at least 1 player in the club rosters:
Netherlands (1 player in-game)
Norway (2 players in-game)
Cook Islands (5 players in-game)
Cameroon (4 players in-game)
Morocco (2 players in-game)
Ivory Coast (1 player in-game)
There are four nationalities which don't have any players in any of the clubs in game:
China
Hong Kong
Switzerland
Vanuatu
Also there are a few players which are of a nationality that is missing in RC2:
Czech Republic: Mirek Nemecek - LK4/50 (currently under Swiss nationality in my .db)
Lithuania: Karolis Navickas - LK5/61 (currently under Swiss nationality in my .db)
Moldova: Vadim Cobilas - LHP/62 (currently under Romanian nationality in my .db)
Cape Verde Islands: Jeremias Sanches Pereira - HKR/59 (currently under Moroccan nationality in my .db)
Algeria: Said Hireche - OFL/63 (currently under Moroccan nationality in my .db)
Algeria: Salim Tebani - HKR/54 (currently under Moroccan nationality in my .db)
So I would also like to add Czech Rep. Lithuania, Moldova, Cape Verde and Algeria as well.
And lastly I would like to add the association logo for Chile as well as update the generic sidhe crowd flags for default generic national teams:
Brazil, Chile, Kenya, Zimbabwe.
So what are the graphic files that I need to create new national teams and how can I add nationalities to the custom .db?
Also, how can I add national anthems for all the teams? Some countries' anthems are incomplete & start halfway through (England, Japan)
3. Tournaments:
For the World Cup Tournament, is there anyway that I can replace any one of the 24 default teams? Also, how can I change the default pools? Doesn't make sense to have New Zealand, Wales, Ireland and England in the one pool...
Also, I'd like to expand:
The Pacific Rim Tournament to include the Cook Islands
The African Nations Cup to also include Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Cape Verde, Cameroon and Ivory Coast. Is it possible to have 2 pools of 5 and then have semis and a final?
The European KO Cup to also include Czech Republic, Lithuania, Moldova, Netherlands, Norway and Switzerland + Poland, Ukraine, Belgium, Sweden Croatia & Latvia. Is it possible to have 3 pools of 6 and a finals knockout stage?
4. Stadiums:
How come no-one has thought to update the generic European and South African stadiums? The FIFA community has actually converted 3-4 Rugby Challenge 2 stadiums to FIFA! So I've got an idea of converting the realistic stadiums back into Rugby Challenge 2, if that is at all feasible...
Loftus Versfeld, Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, Ellis Park and Free State Stadium are all available from the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa video game.
Stade de France and Millennium Stadium have been converted to FIFA14
Twickenham Stadium is in RWC2011.
I have all the stadium files for the last three European stadiums, but I don't have the South African ones. Also, if I can't add stadiums, I'd like to replace Stade Gerland (which will be demolished anyway) with Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
So if anyone can help out with that then yeh!
