I would hope that Japan wins the right to host the tournament in 2015, just as I hoped they would in 2011 before NZ won it.

The IRB needs to look at itself and how it deals with the sport. What was the point in New Zealand winning the 2011 tournament, other than the fact it's the old boy's network doing each other a favour for the promise of future favours in return. Look at Scotland and Wales aupporting France in hosting the 2007 WC only so that they could host a couple of their tournament games in their own countries...

Japan deserves the WC. The infrastructure is there, the fanbase is there (and one that could easily be built on with the famous Japanese enthusiasm for sports). If the IRB were really serious about promoting the game of rugby (which I sincerely doubt) and not just keeping all the goods to their own small band of countires and unions then Japan would be the easy choice.

My choice would be to then bring the tournament back to Europe, with hopefully Italy winning the rights.

Personally its a shame that Argentina didn't bother to bid, does anyone know why?

Italy does it in my book. We'll need it out of the Asia-Pacific reigon after NZL11 and Italy seems to look like they will benefit in the World Cup more. But both of them are obsessed in other sports. Italians are into soccer and Japanese are into Baseball/Soccer. I reckon it wouldn't be to bad in a country where there is no real sport as their no.1, ready for a Rugby Union takeover.

Georgia/Romania 2019?[/b]

Good idea for RWC 2019 to come here in Georgia
;) ;) ;) ;)

ideally i'd have to say England and Cardiff but then again I'd rather the U20 World Cup comes back to Wales
so it doesnt really bother me
