Uruguay vs. Russia. 11/10/14 15:45 UYT, Estadio Charrúa, Montevideo, Uruguay.

Referee: Romain Poite (France)

Broadcast: IRB website stream, Local television in Uruguay.

Well it's come down to this the final game of the lengthy 2015 Rugby World Cup Qualifications. Russia hold the narrowest of leads in the two game aggregate by winning 22-21 at home in Krasnoyarsk in the 1st leg. A result that should please Los Teros as it's very turnable at home. A decent crowd is expected at this one as Uruguay look to advance to the 2015 RWC after bowing out at this stage for both 2007 and 2011. Russia will look to return to the RWC after making their debut in New Zealand.

This is pretty much a winner take all situation, though Russia have a small margin for error, a draw gets them in, and a one point Uruguayan win will result in the first tiebreaker being applied which is most tries over the two legs(Bears lead this 1-0 heading into this leg) in the event of total tries being the same extra time will be played.

Lineups will be posted when available.

Uruguay should use home advantage to win this, but then Russia have the advantage of actually being able to score tries that don't come from the scrum.

By the way how much is $80 in Uruguay to US or UK currency?

Edit: Wait sorry did the math wrong it's about 3.25 US.

It would be better for international rugby I feel if Uruguay won. It would be great to see a Uruguay side feed off of Argentina's success and spread the game throughout South America.

Vamos Teros, carajo!!!

Neither team taking any chances, essentially naming their best possible sides. Can't wait for this one guys!!!

Teros were cheated in the first game, I hope it doesn't happen again. The Russians pretended to have an injured prop to eliminate the scrum, because the Teros were crushing them in the scrum

thanks a lot for link, I couldn't watch in directly on IRB website (country blocked)

3-3 Fifteen minutes in, some decent phases but no real breakthrough's for either side.

Looks like a fantastic crowd in Montevideo.

6-3 for Uruguay now about 20 minutes in.

Just go to the IRB website Conrad, it's right there.

Russia with two qquick penalties they are now leading 9-6. Game is slowing down a bit.

Are Uruguay going to get their points purely from scrums then?

Likely though I hold out the possibility of a drop goal off a lineout LOL, they are bossing around Russia right now in the scrum, and after about 4 Russian collapses have tied the game with a penalty. Igretsov is sitting in the bin for ten as well. So Los Teros are up a man.

Fkg Russians! They are cheating again, Their props simulate injuries to running out of props, then the scrum isn't disputed

Huge try for Russia in the corner. The conversion is missed which gives Los Teros some hope.

17-12 for Russia at the half, Berchesi narrowly missing a penalty at the death. Russia are up 6 in aggregate, it also looks very likely Los Teros would have to win this by 2 points as Russia are up two tries to none in the tiebreaker.

End of the first half:

Uruguay 12 - Russia 17
