We've had some terrible storms in Brisbane over the past week. On Sunday we had the worst storm in 25 years which pretty much have ruined thousands of houses and houses have lost power, trees collapsed everywhere, roofs flying off houses. Worst storm in Brisbane in 25 years.
Then on Wednesday night/Thursday Morning we had a storm just as worse as the Sunday night one, except it was just non stop continuous rain. Some serious flooding around SE QLD its shocking, the worst spot had 250mm of rain past Ipswich, my area got 100m. Heaps of roads flooded and Ipswich was hit pretty hard with flooding.

on thursday morning my whole downstairs was flooded, my room got to like half an inch of rain in depth under my bed. but its nothing compared to what some people have had to put up with.

Ahahaha no water restrictions will continue; in breaking news, after record flooding, experts have concluded that none of the rainfall hit the catchment areas, the reservoir increasing only by 3% of capacity. Brisbane residents are advised to drink the water from their carpet.

Look at the photos from the third link and look how bad the flooding is. The highway/area between Ipswich and Toowoomba is pretty badly flooded. Gatton got 250mm of rain on Thursday morning.

Its funny because its true. The highest rainfall was 250mm, the lowest was unsurprisenly at the dams with 75mm. Dams like Wivenhoe that dont catch the water. Its ridiculous.
