Stand-up Comedians...

Ok, i'm a huge fan of stand-up comedy, but i'm not getting a wide enough variety.
When i used to live at home with my parents, sky was at hand and i could always watch The Comedy Store or something like that, which would introduce me to new comedians. It has been many a year since i moved away from those luxuries and i've only kept in touch with your regular household names like, Peter Kay, Lee Evans, Billy Connolly, Ricky Gervais etc. But i'm sick of those. I want to find new ones.

So i was hoping you guys could help.
Tell me some of your favourite stand-ups, of whom aren't that established, so i could maybe browse on you-tube. I need to watch stand up comedy from a fresh new angle and recently i've discovered a couple of great ones: -

Dave Allen:

Demetri Martin:

I need enlightenment. So if you guys could advise me on any to look up i would greatly appreciate it.

dylan moran is hilarious!
will probably be on youtube... cant be stuffed to look

Peter Helliar is outrageously funny...His dry sense of humor really appeals to me.

Jim Jeffries. You know how much I love him.

Bill Bailey is brilliant live, not only a very funny comedian but also a talented musician. Manages to combine the two superbly.

If you like deadpan comedians, then Rich Hall is definately one to look for. Seen him live as well, his interaction with the audience is fantastic.

No one beats the king.

Another hugely underated comedian - Jasper Carrot.

Some people seem to see him as a tame, which I always find strange considering his jokes can be just as lewd as anyone elses.

Very funny man though. Looking like he has to be.

Lee Evans is my favourite stand up comedian. He's soo frantic round the stage, its unbelievable

is that the guy whose main act is to have an epileptic fit? i find that unfunny after a while...

Lee Evans is a genius.

How can you not find him funny.

Have you seen this?
Just found this clip on you tube.
Crazy.

f***ing hell, crazy bunch of counts up in Manchester. I'd love to know what he got offended by. I also hope he got molested by the audience afterwards, I'd be very ****** off at going to see Jim Jeffries and him not being able to do his full set.

Likewise. I mean, surely this guy knew what he was getting into when he went to see Jim Jeffries, right?
But i love how you can see it took a few members of the audience a few seconds to hop up on stage (coz they thought security would be there, where were they by the way?) and when they finally did they just began digging into the twat. Just throwing in sneaky punches from behind, kidney shots and stuff like that. Brilliant.
The guy deserved much more though.

I hope Jim pressed charges.

Jasper Carrot is boring, he makes Jack Dee seem really lively. Don't find Carrot funny.

Another one not immediately obvious is Rowan Atkinson doing live sketches:

it's even better without sound (on account of my little technical difficulty) what did he say to offend that bloke?

Was in the middle of making some joke about c***s. He had no idea what the guy's problem was either, but spent a minute taking the **** out of him at the end.
