the best kicker

paterson is the current in form kicker
[/b]
I wouldn't agree with that, he stuffed Gloucesters chances of winning in the heineken cup the other week.

I've not seen much of Patterson for Gloucester, but he's been in good form as Scotland's kicker. He lacks distance sometimes, but he's very consistant and about the only threat to other teams we have at the moment.

Being the true Bull that I am, I would have to go for Derick Hougaard, He is one of those kickers that you can bet you bottom dollar on.

Dan Carter is amazing when on form. I was really impressed by what I saw of Chris Paterson in the RWC07.

For consistency-Chris Patterson
For Distance-Francious Steyn
Overall- Wilkinson-Consistent kicker, but he does shy away from the big ones like Patterson
Carter
Montgomary

If we were going to talk kicking in-play then I would have to say that

1) Roger Gould
2) Chris Latham
3) John Roe

I never worried when Percy kicked for us in the world cup, so I'll go with him.
Wilkinson's kicking has deteriorated from what I've seen.
I'll go with Carter as my 2nd choice as he seems to be back to his consistent best.
