The need for more women's teams!!!

Hi! I have struggled since August to get a team together in Ohio and have finally done so and been accepted into a rugby union. There aren't very many resources out here and the closest women's team is about 2 hours away. We are trying to raise money for team equipment, travel expenses including hotels and dues/fees. If funding is a problem, would it not be worth making representations to USArugby to see how they can assist in the development of the side

It may also be worth contacting the USA Olympic committee. With 7's being included in the next Olympics, I'd imagine the more exposure the game gets the better for them.
