Yeah that was, him coming out for Scottish Independence the day or or before the referendum was not.
The joke was made way before the whole Scottish independence vote in an interview post match with Henman I think 2006? who was winding him up about an England match and who he would support. After that it stuck on him with those who had a gripe with him. Some peeps just didn’t get the context and his sense of humour.

Yeah I never held a grudge for it, clearly a joke and knew the context.

The BBC had a documentary on Murray a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. I think while 2012 was heartbreaking at Wimbledon it was the driver for his career success.
As was said already when you factor in he was competing against some of the best to ever play the game he fared out pretty well to be fair.

Jack Draper into the semis of the USO. Looks like Murray's heir has arrived. Although I don't expect him to beat Sinner, all the pressure is on the world number 1.

Sadly lost as predicted. And sick on court x 3. Semis a whole different level mentally and physically. Still, great experience and bodes well for the future.

8-4 to world going into the final day. Zverev really letting the side down. What was Borg thinking picking him v Fritz who has beaten him at Wimbledon and USO.

Final day 3 points for the win all the way to a finish of 13 points. World wins and it levels the series at 3-3.

Should have been the automatic 2(?) years.
I'd always thought doping bans were a matter of application, not negotiation.
Likely thought he was gonna lose if it went to CAS and a longer ban. It’s a strict liability one but the amount involved was negligible and wasn’t performance enhancing. It was that because he’s a top player they treated him differently from if he was one ranked outside the top 50 was why WADA were willing to take it so far.

Swiatek is another very lucky one.

Alcaraz back in another RG final. Shame Musetti had to retire as it was a cracking semi up to the 3rd set when he got a thigh injury. Still, he was lucky to be in the semi as he probably should have been DQ for kicking a ball at a lineswoman in the QF v Tiafoe.

Sinner v Djokovic up next. Hoping it goes 5 sets and Jannick comes through that. But would never discount Novak.
