Thanks Crock................Finally made it back to 32 degrees sunshine but am now looking at a lightning storm cross the mountains!!! Guess He knew I was back then..................

Not a lot to say but no doubt that will change..................................

The Biarrot Arnaud Heguy was suspended for 20 weeks by the Disciplinary Committee on Thursday. Laurent Rodriguez, was sentenced to twelve weeks and four for Serge Blanco - Dimitri Yachvili, was cleared. All these sanctions follow the match against Toulon on September 8.

In addition, the club has been fined 3000 euros.

Have to say that the incident involved passed me by!!

And in Rugby Transfert.......To compensate for these absences, biarrots are, according to Southwest , on the trail of two medical jokers.

One of these paths lead to the Australian hooker Ben Whittaker (who turns 24 on October 10).
According to the local newspaper, the hooker, who played the last Super Rugby in the jersey of the Western Force , should land soon on the Basque coast.

Delpoux the USAP trainer/coach vents his anger this morning after disiplinary commision, he is happy that Serge Blanco and Laurent Rodriguez will not be able to play tonight against USAP after receiving bans of 12 and 4 weeks, Heguey also unavaiable he received 20 weeks but is injured so blah blah!!
the only player fit to play was Yach who received a yellow for a high tackle, which is normally 2/3 weeks in normal peoples book, yes Yach was white as white and got off with a bus ticket back to Biarritz and is therefore playing tonight. As Delpoux explained we now need a disipline to disipline the disipline, a sort of Boeuf, Carrottes of French Police. Once again shows that the being President of BO and well positioned in the hierachy of French Rugby does sometimes helps.

.................must be the only thing that he has done that works recently!!

Yach was marginal but not sure what the others did to merit the punishment (or opportune rant from Delpoux) so cannot comment on its merit............and that is not me just doing a Wenger!!

We had torrential rain last night, all night and it continues. The boyos better be bringing their swimmers as there will be more surfing than rugby tonight and, I guess, our boys are more used to idling their time away on the surfboard (ala Thion and Gobelet) than on a rugby training ground!!

I just cannot see Biarritz winning the game unless we get lucky with the referee again...the squad has a lot of injuries for Blanco et al to hide behind but in truth they would not make that much of a difference to an altogether poor squad if all were fit!!

20.45 kick off on a cold and wet evening at Aguillera............what a thought!!

Get lucky with the REF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the cheque already been cashed my son, who needs luck!!!! Serge may not be in the starting XV, but dont worry he will have done his part, and the other day he was crying about the World and the refs were all against him and his club . I ask you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Young fast and furious.

A weather update in the Biarritz area would be appreciated.

Thanks

Sorry I am late and the good news is that the weather improved about 10 minutes before kick off and the pitch seemed to have coped remarkably well with the huge downpour to be in pretty good shape!!

That being said, it was the only bit of good news of the night. I thought BO were going pretty well but they had not one decent attack that did not end in a penalty against them or a knock on...in fact situation normal. USAP were ok but nothing special and for a few miniutes after half time, I had realistic dreams of winning one but it turned into a nightmare when they could not withstand a catch and drive from 5 metres and that was that.

Thought young Lockley (ex Nottingham) and Waenga had pretty good games and was surprised when they were the first to be subbed...although I imagine they were protecting Lockley what were they doing taking BO's best player off after 66 minutes? Wierd.

Yach thought he was playing with the Harlem Globetrotters and, kicking apart, was pretty useless.......yet he and Traille (equally bland) seem never to be subbed.

Interesting they are advertising a "Vide Grenier" (Car Booit Sale) at Aguillera on Sunday week and I imagine they need the money but can give them a few suggestions as to how to save money................Althoough I think one saving will be the departure of Ngwenya by end of season as he is the one desirable player from the squad and cannot imagine him hanging around for Pro 2...

Still no mention of Hape...................................Shontayne running a concession there now?!!

You obviously missed my post a while back Shontayne Hape is no longer with MHR, since abpout March/April last season , he was told to retire or take a long break from the game as he had too many concussions and it was deemed to be dangerous for him to continue playing.
MHR fielding 8 players from the ecole de rugby or Academy out of 23, also 18 out of 23 players are French, lets see that be beaten this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did miss that...........poor bugger. Hope he recovers soon but should not play again!

That sounds like what BO should field in the Amlin!! Good luck to them anyway!

God I miss Canal + already....
We've got all the channels here in Doha, the whole of France Television (TF1, France 2-3-4-5 Arte M6...etc etc etc) and a ton of useless channels BUT NO FKN CANAL + !!!! WHYYY !! WHYYYYYYY ?!!!!!

See PMI

Toulon playing at new stadium in Nice....looks nice but suffering Millenium problems with pitch......one scrum half the pitch destroyed!!

Good attacking game this and have to say good try by Mermoz but more importantly brilliant saving try tackle by, yes, Delon Armiitage......

Clermont, with a very conservative away team, are playing as well as I have seen them this season and Giteau having a blinder to justify JW's dropping!

I'm enjoying BT's coverage actually. I like Nick Kennedy as a commentator, and the other guy as well. Nice to hear people who can actually build a sentence correctly.
