I just said: "Fantastic droap goal by Wilko", I never said that I want to win Toulon. Allez Castres!

You must read better and be more funniest

Loved the english national anthem bein played at the end.

So happy he went to toulon in the end they truly respect him there.

Thank you Wilko

A Froggy just want to say thank you to SIR Wilco.

So happy for Jonny, what a man, a player, a leader...he's never as good as in the key moments, and he finishes his career on a 100%...
I believe that's the first and last time we'll hear the God Save the Queen at the end of a match in France ! But that was the least expected to celebrate the last ***le of MONSIEUR Wilkinson ! :)

great to see Frenchies coming back here to congratulate Wilko.

About the game, briefly:
very good first half. Shhitty second half, but the stakes were too high. Toulon demoralized Castres, who couldn't find the resources (mental, physical) to overtake Toulon. Toulon raised the bar too high for the C.O. "Dommage", too bad...
Evans is a fantastic winger, better than I thought, don't see how Scotland aren't using him. Kockott is just stubborn and needs to be more intelligent with his choices. He's clever and crafty though.
It was nice to see Richie Gray smiling at the very end during the celebrations. Only Castrais to smile...

About the end:
Wilkinson: it was downright hilarious to not see him cry. They kept interviewing him, and interviewing him, and then he'd run along with his mates, and then come back, you'd think maybe the emotion had finally reached its peak, back on the mic', still super focused with his ultra-English accent speaking in French, I laughed out loud at a point because everybody else was crying or laughing hysterically and they went back to interview him and he just goes "oh yes Castres, super team...blah blah blah" the caricature fairplay guy on display :p

Hollande, you poor little shhit, I saw what you did there. He had some fkr explaining what was happening during the game to him, and in the interview at the end, he finishes by saying: "Wilkinson scored all the points for his team, except the last penalty, because he doesn't kick the long ones". Like, oh wow, that's the sort of detail only a true fan would notice, wow Hollande, really conquered our hearts back on that one, thumbs up for that...go work on your country not entering civil war mode sale pédé de ta race.

Back to Wilko: I actually felt very moved by that scene with all the Toulonnais holding the brennus up, as I looked at Jonny: he was smiling, finally. Such a rare sight. It was so genuine, and so unforced and spontaneous. He really looked like he'd saved the world or smt, beautiful smile.

Jonny Wilkinson: the Englishman who made France love a rosbif...the man, a hero, a true winner, and an absolute cutie too ;)

And very impressed to hear Monsieur Wilkinson words after a 80 min final performance, far higher altitude words than the France 2 idiot "journalist" ones...
Hey Mr Beullet, you're not interviewing a soccer Ligue1 player, please adjust your perfomance level.

Big E I notice your back to being a Toulouse fan. You've less loyalty than an escort. :)

I am back with my team after converting to the magnificent Toulon for the last two weeks and I am so happy that both Saints and Toulon won the day.

The Aviva was by far the best match to watch but I am so, so happy for JW and his Toulon mates who despite a very strange performance from Bardos (but what do you expect) overcame their huge number of mistakes stuck to their plan and saw it to fruition.

A wonderful day for rugby and the right people won (Barwells and JW) and lost (Borthwick and Wray) in my humble opinion..now all Biarritz have to do is find a new owner, new sponsors, allow O'Sullivan some control over the club and stay in Pro 2 long enough to earn the right to compete with the like of Toulon so that I can be at the new stadium to see them win the Bouclier and I can rest happy!!!

Arise Sir Jonny Wilco........................with the Legion D'Honeur too!!!!!!

I think people are blowing this out of proportion, Galthié and Lartot are alright. Wilkinson didn't say anything out of the ordinary though, he's no philosopher, just a very high class human being and athlete. Giteau, and Steffon Armitage spoke French too. Pretty well.

But seriously, interviewers have absolutely no tact whatsoever: literally 20 seconds after the final whistle, some asshole is right in Mathieu Bastareaud's face asking him technical question about the game when he couldn't gather his emotions at all and was bursting in tears. And he just kept at it, obviously under pressure from his channel. But ffs I don't give a shht they've got an interview to do or wtvr, these guys should back the fk up. I think I'd just shove the guy out of the way, like, let me cry, I'm living through enormous emotions here, don't spoil it with your fkng questions and annoying cameras, God !...

Kockott got pis sed off too: the interviewer goes "so how did you find your game ? You missed 3 important penalties....". Kockott, in French, immediately replies: "I see you really had to bring that up, the 3 missed penalties".
You don't just come up to someone who just LOST A FKNG FINAL, and fart in their face about their missing 3 super important penalties 2m30sec after the final whistle.

Big E I notice your back to being a Toulouse fan. You've less loyalty than an escort. :)

and what makes you think an escort hasn't loyalty ?? hmmm ?? Plus, I was totally going to put Toulon on my profile, but since I'm in emotional/respect mode for Wilko, no room for humor.

Great game, really enjoyed it. What a try by Evans!!!! World class. Pity Castres didn't in it but Toulon kept cool and won the game. As Kockott admitted himself he missed some valuable kicks.

Well B E you should listen to Gaston he knows who wins and who loses!!!!!!
High tension throughout the game but Toulon bossed it from start to finish although thats 2 finals Castres have scored a try in each but Jonnies kicking won the day plus an excellent kick from distance by Armitage........
Must congratulate PSA on choosing the worst No.10 in France Tales was rubbish about as good as Mr Flop Habana........ how to waste money!!! but maybe it was a tax dodge for Lord Boujellal, so thats it!!!! all we need now is 3x 50-0 for Australia PSA to get his well deserved sacking put another Yes man in charge and watch FRance stroll to a World Cup win next year....................sorry just woken up dreaming again!!!!!!!!!!
What gets me with Jonnie, it took him half an hour after the game to break into a smile while the rest of the world were shedding tears all around him, even his family showed litte emotion, but he's inviting everyone for a Barbie this week........... Hope Fat Billy was watching Jonnie went and shook hands with everyone in the Castres team, plus staff, water boys, physios etc missed no one, not difficult even for a super star, respect and humility!!!!! Good one Jonnie!!! Fat Billy a lesson to be learnt take notice !!!!
WONDER IF HE MAY HAVE AT LEAST ONE BEER TO CELEBRATE.... but all the same a well deserved exit from top class rugby excellent model for any youngster to follow if they have not already broken the mould. Nice touch on the shirts "thanks Jonnie
Welll done to Saints and Leinster for their wins i have talked to the new rugby Gods in Switzerland and asked for Montypellier, Munster, Italien Stalliens and Bath or someone near the west country for the new Champions Cup thingy next season so i can organise Mr and Mrs Gastons little away trips around good food and Guinness...........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guinness ??....you're in France and you want to drink Guinness ?? Ehh...

So I agree Habana really shrunk this game.

About Talès:
I don't think he's bad generally, or was bad yesterday. He does make a few mistakes, some of them are downright bad for a guy at his level, no doubt. He does certain things fairly well: his big advantage is his size, he's got good strength for a 10 in contact with ball in hand and is a very good tackler. His attacking though is so-so, and you'll see him make mistakes in the direction he chooses and seems to take himself for a superhero sometimes, kicking a pass a full width of the field (like yesterday, straight into touch, that was *bad*) although he's usually good with those, or running with the ball gripped in one hand like he's going to put on a masterful run.

Overall for a flyhalf I'd give him about a 6.5/10. He does have solid performances in him during big games, like against the AB's in November, last year's final against the same Toulon. The thing about him is he isn't pragmatic enough, and doesn't seem to have a simple and clear enough idea of what to do. Sometimes he's got sparkling ideas, sometimes he's just all clogged up by himself.
He's good enough to lead and start for a very solid Castres team that's made the final twice in a row, but he's not good enough to lead France, a side that needs creation and that has the luxury of having a world class backline which needs to be the difference maker against other sides that don't. Plus, he doesn't even kick penalties. And you could make the argument although he hasn't much int'l experience yet, he's already in his 30's and he's not getting any younger. So he's basically at full maturation in his game.
FTD, where art thou ? This is an enormous mistake going into the world cup...biggest PSA has made.

Guinness ??....you're in France and you want to drink Guinness ?? Ehh...
