Scrum coaches are important a young age. I think its important for Ireland to start coaching scrummaging at a young age as by time you reach Buckle's (oh sorry Buckley's) age its obviously much harder to get the right technique.

Karena Wihongi and Sisa Koyamaibole to Lyon is pretty much a done deal, according to a French paper
will be joining up with Lee Thomas and Luke Abraham who moved there from Sale previously

Odd how PSA leaves Sale for Toulon, takes a load of Sale players, then his brother takes over Lyon and takes a load of Sale players :p

The Muliaina rumour has been floating around for over a year. Ospreys seem to reckon they already have him. I doubt he'll end up here.

Munster have confirmed that they will sign Ulster prop BJ Botha at the end of the season.

Ulster said yesterday that the South African would leave at the conclusion of the current term.

And Munster have now agreed terms with the 31-year-old tighthead, who will fill the gap left by Tony Buckley's departure for Sale Sharks and the expected retirement of John Hayes.

The move is subject to Botha passing the usual medical and fitness tests and securing a valid work permit. He will join on a two year contract starting at the end of the current season.

Ceri Jones from Harlequins to Worcester
Matt Hopper from Cornish Pirates to Harlequins
Mike McComish from Connacht to Ulster
Stewart Maguire from Leinster to Connacht
Bath and Harlequins are looking at Brad Thorn
Northampton are being linked loosely with Luke McAlister

Apparently those thieving weedgies are planning to poach Tommy Seymour. Which won't do, as we need him to build some squad depth.

Seymour is expendable. While losing Seymour (and McCrea) sees Ulster lose some depth out wide, Ulster can't have expected Craig Gilroy to have made the impact he has this season. If Fionn Carr signs as some rumours suggest, Trimble, Danielli, Carr and Gilroy is a good group of wingers with a couple of younger players like McIlwaine and Gaston backing them up.

As loosely as these ...

McIlwaine's pash. Gaston's had some fine reports but has yet to be seen on a ML field. Carr's yet to be confirmed. Trimble will disappear for the World Cup most like and then have his rest games while Danielli might disappear for the odd international too. Not a healthy situation to be in.

Trimble disappearing for the odd international is already the case yet Seymour isn't getting much of a look in. Why not move Gaston up the depth chart? O'Halloran at Connacht, Conway at Leinster and Gilroy at Ulster are all younger than him yet have stepped up just fine.

I see now that Ulster are being linked with Cory Jane. Cory Jane > Tommy Seymour and Mark McCrea by just a little bit!

He's got quite a few chances and, admittedly, wasted them but recently has show signs of coming good. David McIlwaine was the main man getting those chances though.

I've seen that story. I refuse to believe it until I see him in an Ulster shirt.

Plus, no way of knowing for sure Gaston has it until he plays a full game...
