Transfers rumours

all i know is that the Leinster Lads ain't calling him Isileli Tu'ungafasi - nickname inbound haha.

Kelly Brown has left Warriors to return to London. You would assume that he will transition into Sarries coaching staff.

Tuilagi --> Wasps
French clubs less keen because of injuries and not interested in Japan due to two young kids

They've gotta be cutting some players loose, surely?
Cause they'll have some youngsters who will be looking for a payrise due to establishing themselves as senior players

We've brought in Heinz and Chudley next season so he'll definitely be going. He wants to stay in UK for his passport.

Regarding Wasps, Vellacott is off to Edinburgh so i guess it's a solid back up when Robson is away on International duty?

So i think we weren't up to the salary cap anyway, and with the lose of Owlett, Taylor, Rowlands, Vellacott and likely Brookes/Sops , we should have some funding free. Sops is down as having signed for Lyon on Wiki.

Yes, looking ok and well grounded. Think we are backing 2-3 more youngsters particularly in front row coming through at the moment. Fekitoa is on about 500k apparently so if off a lot of coin available. I'd also assume that Hougaard will be on a lower salary than at Wuss as he wants to stay in England and us/Glaws are the only teams who would likely make an offer.

Still need to replace Rowlands (Stooke rumoured as done deal) and then figure out McIntyre, Zuzu (most likely off), Vukasinovic, De Jongh etc.

Worst thing he ever did was leave Connacht. Was on great trajectory there but was never going to get in to Leinster 23.
I won't knock a guy for trying to make it in his home province but he'd have played more rugby out west for sure. Might have even got a few hipster shouts to be called up for Ireland if he had good scoring form but he was never making that level.

Surprised he'd take backup at Tigers as opposed to being able to battle for the starting shirt at bath or gloucester - but I guess he's banking on time when Ford is with england

I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't have fond memories of the West Country - he's been pretty open about the abuse he received on social media and how it affected him mentally
Seems to still be tight with a lot of the Tigers players

Burns left Tigers to a standing ovation, left Bath and glous too boos (Well sort of)
Also got to remember all of the big boys involved in Tigers at the time are gone,

I would be happy with the move.
Henry would be the big thing, will he want to stay.

It's really hard to decide how I feel about Henry literally one game will be amazing the very next game he can be awful.
A lot of potential but at 27 next season at what stage does potential stay potential.

My hope if Burns comes is we go all out trying to poach Barton or Finn Smith the season after.

Back off of Fin Smith haha :p

No not kbocking him and fair play for trying but was always very slim chance to betyer what he had out West building good stock.

Thought it was a weird move at the time. He was never realistically likely to make the European 23 and Leinster didn't really need him anyway. Leinster have clearly shown a bit of an interest in bringing ex players back from other provinces (see Nick McCarthy).

To be honest his spell with Leinster went better than I thought it would, solid league starter and could probably have done a job in Europe if needed (which he did the one time he played). Finished chances that came his wa7 and wasn't a problem defensively. Him and Dave offered some stability out wid in a backline that kept changing over the last while but he was never going to push Larmour out of the team.

Agreed that he should have stayed at Connacht though. He's too good for the Championship anyway but presumably he'll be making good money
