Burrell rumoured to be leaving us in the summer and rumours we have signed Rory Parata from Pirates as a replacement.
Remember Parata from his Connacht days. He's been all over the place now.

Rumours now that Mark Wilson is coming in as a coach...and with Easter moving on...you would think its as defence coach...
He'd be a 13 predominantly, but has played everywhere I think, including 10

No offence to Mark but you lot are a bit **** across the board and that feels like a gamble you can't afford to take
We probably do...an decent attack coach would be nice aswell.
Id give mark a go though. If anyone can teach our lads how to tackle and be organized in defence....then surely its him!

TBH the easy part of coaching is knowing what to do. The hard part is communicating that, getting the players to buy into it and then drilling them so they can execute. Having recently been a member of the playing group you’re now coaching often makes life more difficult.
Not saying Wilson couldn’t do well, just that there shouldn’t be an automatic assumption he will. His status as a player will give him some automatic goodwill and respect but that will rapidly evaporate if he’s not the man for the job.
And now we have given Phil Van der Walt a new 3 year deal ...he'll be 33 in the summer....i dont get that one.

Good point. Didn’t think about the residency angle. Still haven’t seen anything from him to make a 3yr deal look like a good idea though, particularly when players like Lockwood, Farrar and Montgomery are pushing for more involvement.
Erh he will be cheap and he will provide good depth.
