Any idea who the big prospects are? Gavin and Gleeson returning. Have heard big things about De Klerk and McLaughlin, Sparrow and Spicer have been mentioned also but I really don't have any basis for an opinion.

Coffey has been a star at 9 for Rock in the AIL.

Gleeson obviously the notable forward, O'Connell is a big prospect.

Bit annoying to see Asher shifted back to loosehead as he (and Sale) wants to play tighthead - hopefully doesn't turn into a long term battle between RFU and club, and it's just because he's a better option at 1 than the others they have available

Surely more that he and Sela together are the best combination (though, obviously both are better than the individual alternatives, or they wouldn't be starting)

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping - Asher has said he wants to play tighthead long term, and Sale have said the same - England have told us they want him playing loosehead instead, though
Hoping that that's just an u20s thing (i.e. "He's our best option at loosehead and we've got other guys playing well at tighthead") rather than something that might become a sticking point when the RFU start flexing their muscles over dual contracts further down the line

Sela is very, very exciting (maybe not as much as Asher, but then...) But he's no LHP.
Those two should be the standout props on the tourney.

Is Fasogbon injured?

For all the talk about him, he was even playing more than 10 mins for Gloucester in the prem cup
We joke about Gloucester being where promising internationals go to die but it really does seem like a poor decision he made to go there, doesn't even look like he's been out on loan anywhere or anything

I think it might be so he can deal with Gallorini, who is a mountain of a player at 6ft3 and 130+kg, a good scrummager and surprisingly a regular try scorer.
