I like the balance of this squad, but I really think their tournament will be defined by their performance in Cardiff first up.

They are more than capable of winning that game at a canter, but if they stumble, or arent fully prepared itll be tough to get back momentum.

Scotland really are the dregs of rugby. Tigers third choice TH and now saints third choice TH.

Shouldn't they be capping more South African players as usual?

Would now probably be classed as Saints 2nd choice. But get your point.
Seems like Townsend wants solid set piece focused forwards, and Millar-Mills is exactly that. Proper old school prop

Who are we going to see this weekend then? Gilco straight in for Richie Gray? Is Kinghorn ready (I thought Kyle Rowe did alright in Cardiff overall, he's a winger primarily)?

Pay for their release then, every other union was offered the same deal the RFU, they just didn't see the point in paying as they didn't have enough players for it to be worthwhile - maybe Scotland will reconsider now that they almost exclusively use foreign players for their side

Scotland say a 5 pointer keeps them in hunt going to Dublin. Would I be right in saying if Ireland got a bonus point won in London then they are champions?

Yeah correct. Scotland can now get a maximum of 19 points - a BP win for Ireland next week puts them at 20.

Presumably Scotland hoping that Ireland don't manage a BP win against England (lol).

Mathematically all it needs is Ire-Eng to draw and a 5 point Scotland win, to put Ireland on 17 and Scotland on 14 with it all to play for in the final match.

Unfortunately I now have to support England against Ireland 😭😭😭

Sione Tuipulotu out for the rest of the six nations with a knee injury.

Cue the Bath 10-12 axis. Huwpolotu now becomes Huwpath. Gutted for Sione but pleased for Cam who was excellent when he came on last weekend.
