Pack has been taken out of the game all of a sudden...

They outmuscle the welsh team, but there's no guile, the English backs need to get involved, give the defence something else to look at

That's certainly been the case today.

I think they came out firing, felt that they were well on top (valid), had a few try scoring oppordenied by luck, but the feeling seemed to be that more scores were inevitable.
Score was level, or 1 score up, but we were playing like we'd secured the TBP, and we're 3 scores up.

It's a tough mindset thing when you feel well on top, you're playing well, but you look at the scoreboard and it's just not reflected.
Unforgivable for that to continue after HT though.

I'll be honest I don't know who that is, but they can't be worse than this half back partnership, they've destroyed English superiority!

I agree. There was a spell he killed wales for 4/5 bad decisions, but then he's just murdered England on 2 decisions lol

I’ve watched all the U20s England games this 6 nations. I just don’t think we are particularly coached well. The defence is a bit cack and we rely on our forward power. Wales have soaked it up and shown us up for what we are

It's amazing isn't it, at u20s momentum really does mean more....

England looked like they were in cruise control, bigger, more powerfull, more confident... half backs make a few errors and they're holding on

FH, very much a game manager. In his 3rd year with the U18s (IIRC)
His skills are very good but not yet top tier, but his vision, and decision making..
Reminds me of George Ford at the same age, but without the running threat.

Of course, now I've bigged him up, he'll go and discover girls and beer, and drop out of rugby altogether.

Wales deserve to win this but not as much as England deserve to lose. As much as i want the lads to get the GS it'll be good for them in the long run to miss out on that and the title given how they've played - hopefully teach them a thing or two about attitude and resilience
