Pollard better grab this game by the scruff of the neck or GTFO. They have physically dominated the first 27 minutes and made mental error after mental error.

High above the Bulls 22 that half
Great seat. Leinsters disruptive line out gave them the basis for that first half.
Bulls needed a try before H/T

I expect them to fix the lineout and start dominating scrums. Leinsters backs are creating a lot of opportunities and it will take a complete starvation of possession to see them not score second half.
They made up 18 points against Glasgow with Pollard leaving 8 more behind

Unfortunately for Bulls, Leinster are not Glasgow.

That piece of refereeing was a joke, bulls knock forward on intercept straight into hand of Leinster, yellow card

Leinster deliberate knock on whilst spoiling penalty

Refereeing now gone out the window.

Previously Leinster got the rub if the green, nothing egregious, now it's full on Leinster favour.

Well that was a average match for the first 3/4 then turned to a complete shitshow of refereeing.

Leinster were still winners, but the scoreline really deceives.

Thanks for acknowledging that Leinster actually won the match. Your verdict was passed on to the URC officials at Croke Park and they confirmed the presentation could go ahead.

Thank you for the review by way of your comments. I just got home from work and didn't see the match, so I'll watch the highlights later. Enjoy your summer. 👍

They must have been showing a different game where I was watching than what's in here.

Still comfortably the best of the rest in Europe and that's OK for where the squad's at. Challenges to come next year.

Anyone up and coming to take the pressure off JGP?

Clearly Luke McGrath never got to the level of being a viable replacement and was definitely a backup only.

Props are another matter - but then that problem is relative - its even worse anywhere else on the island!
In Connacht the two young props just made the Irish squad. Behind Furlong and Porter there is Clarkson (same level as Furlong now) and Paddy McCarthy. Usamov next up on loose head. There isn't sufficient depth but its not as dire as the injury crisis wold suggest even though Leinster did ok at scrum yesterday.

Jack Boyle still ahead of Usanov, although achilles injuries are nasty.

Niall Smyth is probably the best prospect at tighthead since Furlong and Sparrow looks like he's on a better track than this time last year.

Gunne is the one who's expected to step up at 9. Has a lot of the skills so hopefully the extra gametime will do him well.

I'd forgotten about Boyle. Good to hear about Smyth.
Gunne was unlucky with some of the matches last year where conditions forced matches into box kicking affairs eg versus Cardiff away.
