Sadly I think he will choke. The boy has talent but reckon the nerves might get the better of him. But I do hope I am wrong.

Another good day for McIllroy but I'm still reserving judgement until he acts under pressure ie last 4/5 holes on Saturday and on Sunday when most eyes will possibly be on him.

McIlroy had a good day but finished with a double bogey... He's possibly the most talented golfer there is but he's pretty mentally frail

I think he'll hold out this time. It's the one McDowell won last year and he'd think it'd great to suceed his best mate on tour. I think if he plays the next 2 days par or better he'll win.

Absolutely fantastic display all round by McIlroy. Very composed! He totally dominated the field. I would be surprised if we don't see him win a few more majors in the coming years

well i don't watch or play golf, but always look out to see if someone other than an american wins something. So congrats to McIlroy, awesome stuff :D

I think he'll win The Open or the USPGA this year. If it wasn't for 9 holes at Augusta he'd be half way to a grand slam, unbelievable.
