How many politicians can you think of that have genuinely said that a politician is like Hitler and then a few years later become his best buddy and VP?

I can't think of anything that extreme but maybe there are some good examples of such drastic turnarounds.

Of course many politicians backtrack. Though, it seems to me, they tend to backtrack on policy and not ideology but I could be wrong.

She reiterated over and over how evil and racist he was yes.

Lammy called Trump and Vance Hitler, he U turned real quick lol.

And BTW there is a long list of western leaders who called Trump Hittler and then became besties, im thinking the French Macron cabinet, Morrisons cabinet, the Canadians en masse lol

I think it’s a little bit different playing nice with a foreign leader you clearly don’t like but have to play nice for diplomatic reasons compared to bending over and kissing the ring and then joining the ranks alongside Trump as his VP, don’t you think?

I mean, I’m sure Starmer thinks Xi or Insert Middle Eastern leader here, are not exactly upstanding amazing people but I’m also sure in public he will be very complimentary. These are different things.

I’ve not heard these quotes from Harris. Can you post them for me, not doubting you just want to see how similar they are to Vance saying Trump is like Hitler.

Yes the only political figure I can actually quote calling Trump Hitler is JD Vance. Would be interested to see the list of Western leaders he's on about.

I’m pretty sure there are none that have done what Vance did. Why? Because not all politicians, not even most, are as spineless and shameless as Vance.
