The thing I don't get is Americans act like the big man online but then cry and cower about so called no go zones/cities in European countries
My 86yr old nan would happily walk to town in her "no go zone ghetto" in Birmingham while big tough Republicans like ChicagoKid cry in their basements about how scary it is

Most of the pretty wealthy people I know, don't brag about how rich they are. Being humble and classy isn't an American strong point. Behaviour at the Ryder Cup today a case in point.

I was in Egypt (Luxor) about 14 years ago during the Arab spring protests.
The locals kicked off with a loud protest with a bit of stone throwing, tourists were quickly loaded on to river boats and floated out by locals so none of them would be hurt. It was a local dispute no-one was looking to harm foreigners.
When we got back to the hotel the Americans had already legged it to the airport while the rest out just retired to the bar.
