Yes, This Is What I Do

O

O'Rothlain

So, yes, I'm a mysterious man from a land far far away...a land so mysterious it is copied the world over...
You might be asking yourself..."What does a 4 TRFies Award carrying gentleman like O'Rothlain actually do, besides post really, really ridicuously good looking post on TRF?" Well, I sell stone...stone tiles to be exact. And to give you a glimpse of my life, I'm going to post this lovely commercial for your enjoyment:

I've actually used the Roman line before (they didn't do to bad, right?).

So, what do you do? And how can we make fun of your proffession?

 that was pretty funny. I don't work or anything but I'm a student studying Design (Interior). Recently we've just been learning not exactly about those 'marble towers' but about columns, which is the common name for them. It's amazing because I'm just starting to realise how much influence these columns have had on the world, very inspiring.

I work in IT...it's pretty dull & boring. I have to travel far too far to do it too.

This morning however I am having nerdy fun by taking 3 external Access databases and changing my code so that they are all stored internally in arrays. I am ashamed to say I am actually really looking forward to getting started on it.

i am also a 4 trf award winner, 3 if you dont count the award everyone got.

anyway i work in IT as well, as a system admin/programmer/database admin (my ***le is actually technical specialist/technical consultant sounds spiffy doesnt it)

i dont have to travel too far, for instance the last 3 days i have worked from home, but i have to work crazy hours, worked til 2am last night and was woken up at least 5 times up til 8am so that sucked. bed time soon and its only 8pm

I work in the 'glamourous' world of advertising...

Disappointingly, there is rather less drinking champagne drizzled over strippers' breasts than they would have you believe, but we do get quite a few client lunches and corporate entertainment at sporting events etc...

I have just left the glamorous and exciting world of industrial brushes. There nothing I can't tell you about wire brushes :(

I now work in the heating/air conditioning business :)

I.. the holder of 2 ridiculously attractive TRFies award is a student, studying HR management, and an interim workshop in charge for an oil drilling company... I also happen to be... well, I don't need to say it do I?

Pharmacist by training, qualification and registration, currently working in the oh so exciting nutriceutical manufacturing industry. Which is a glorified way of saying "I mix powders and make pills."

So basically I used to be a drug pusher, nowadays I`m a drug maker. And I didn`t even have to emigrate to Columbia.....

I'm internet Administrator/shop supervisor in a rugby shop.
Basically i play online for a few hours and talk about rugby to people.
Kinda like what i do here...only i get paid for it.
Perks of the job:

- 40% off all rugby products.
- Free tickets to see any Welsh regional games and Welsh internationals.
- Chance to meet world rugby stars (List includes: Dan Carter, Rico Gear, Brian Habana, Victor Matfield, Chris Latham) as they stay in the Hilton Hotel when on tour and that's just around the corner from the shop i work in.

...I've also done a bit of freelance writing.

Awesome! hook me up...joax

I get up basically when I feel like it, do very little of any use to society during the day, drink too much and then go to bed late for no apparent reason.

That's right - I'm a politician.

Or student, whichever you want to believe.

Shall i be the one to point the arrogance and ignorance in that line?
You can just imagine the folks in 3rd world countries, and in Afghanistan and Libya all quoting 50 cent songs, eating their Big Macs in the Multiplex cinemas, pronouncing words in correctly ("Herb" has an 'H' in it. "Aluminium" has an 'I' in it) whilst telling each other to "Have a nice day"

:bleh!:

I am a DBA and Co-Owner of a Rugby Forum...

For my First Job I don't travel far but i am bored stupid as they treat me like **** on a shoe...

The Second Job is bloody Crap I have to listen to moaning people, who **** me off and try to run a forum out of my own wages...

now now - then again O'Rothlain i fail to see the mystery in the american midwest, i once went to chicago with a friend and thought that was exotic...

anyway i'm a student - this time next week i'll be finished and plan on being nothing for a while...

Well, I think you are completely wrong...Fiddy Cent and Islam go very well together...as do Big Macs...It's not like there are actually places where they don't have food...they all have McDonalds...they should just get a job or something...right?

I had to start paying for this place thats what happened...

Try outsourcing to those mythical "3rd World" countries Rugby Cymru keeps mentioning.
