France showing their ability to keep the score board ticking over but TBH I really expected more endeavour from NZ to make up for it.

There is also that small issue ireland seem to historically have regardless of how good they look in getting to the final.

I know people say oh what happens in warm ups doesnt matter, but those two teams looked exactly like who we thought they were from the warm up performances.

Conditions weren't great though. Most teams would look worse in them.

Tough watch for the ABs I’m sure, can see they have great players but the game plan didn’t seem very clear - the tries were 2 flashes of skill rather than all round great play.

I guess the tricky thing for France now is to simmer down, manage the group but then bring back to boil for QF. Do they play the runnner up of the IRE/SA/SCO group?
