[RWC2023] England vs Samoa (07/10/2023)

What was wrong wih the Chessum try? He was short then reached for the line? I thought ypu were allowed to place rhe ball like that?

What am i missing?
Brace thought he used his arms or legs to move himself forward. Debatable, but as others have said so was the Samoan try that was chalked off.

I know people hated it, but I hope smith gets some looks at 15 for quins, guy is electric.

They reckon his first movement was to pull himself forward with his elbow and then 2nd movement to place it
I thought it was one movement though, just getting his arm free and placing 🤷‍♂️

Ref thought that he propelled himself forwards after the tackle, despite his head/shoulders not moving any closer to the try line

Arguably evens out the knock on call earlier.

Oh god, now they're talking about a previous nemesis in Spreaders. Make it stop.

This is going to be a problem with the new stupid power RFU have over premiership clubs selecting players, RFU now have a hand in dictating position and training.

Loathe that concept.
