USA news & politics

I mean, there are some parallel behaviours, but MAGA would also argue he's undoing all of that that has been ongoing for decades.

I can't remember the name of the Russian KGB defector who made these claims, but he made them about the American left.

Using education to promote Marxism, anti capitolism, military, and police and pro large government ideals. Put those indoctrinated into positions of power, to emasculate young men and disrupt the nuclear family. Pit men against women, White against non white, straight against non straight, these are Democrat tactics no?

The constant effort of calling Trump a fascist dictator, encouraging civil unrest, going against the rule of law... I'd say Russia are probably in the destabilisation stage, and the eradication of borders and capitalism is en route.

Now I'd disagree with the outcome that MAGA come to, that he is the great white hope, I think he's using this type of stuff to his advantage.
Isn't it funny, to touch on the salient point that you made wrt to changing people's ideology, that how 15/20 years ago you'd have everyone on the American right unified in their stance against Russia and to support Ukraine but now we have this massive shift where Putin isn't such a bad guy to a lot of these MAGA types. It's kind of like he has completed shifted the view point a lot of traditional right leaning American voters.

Are you saying it's dem tactics to install certain types of educators in American universities to teach them all the drivel you just said in that post? Very conspiratorial.

I love how the dems apparently love to promote Marxism and anti capitalism. lol.
This is one myth that really winds me up, the dems are as far to the right as the tories and 80% of Americans couldn't tell you what Marxism (and socialism) is if they had the dictionary definition in front of them. You'd hope the place had moved on a bit since the Cold War ended and communism effectively ended across the globe.

If I was being super charitable to Harry I would say he sometimes, mistakenly, conflates leaders of political parties with Dave the liberal on Twitter. I imagine Harry will say you only have to look online at left wing people to see how much they promote Marxism and all that stuff but there's a world of difference between some random and the POTUS or any high ranking politician.

Here's a good question, and before you get your knickers in a twist I'm not saying he is a Russian asset but let's assume the **** tapes are real and Trump is a Russian asset, what type of things would you expect Trump to do?
Point of order, you don't have to be compromised to be an asset.

Maybe just maybe the job attracts a certain kind of person....

Even then the whole educational institutions are brainwashing you is nonsense. At least in the UK they are at pains to not teach anything about out political system and Section 28 was more out of fear of prosecution of promotion rather than education.

Agreed. You can be a useful idiot which Trump definitely can fall under.
Trump's net worth has more than doubled
The deal is an extension of a business strategy that Trump embraced long before his presidency, striking deals to sell his name to hoteliers and golf course operators in exchange for fees and royalties.
But the opportunities to profit from his brand have expanded since he entered politics a decade ago.
In his most recent financial disclosure, Trump reported making more than $600m last year, including millions from items such as Trump-branded bibles, watches sneakers and fragrances.
Forbes in March estimated his net worth was $5.1bn, more than double what it was a year earlier.

*cough Harry cough*

I wonder how much tax he will pay on that 600m

Im not saying Democrats are doing that, that's the MAGA theory. Im saying that's what KGB defectors have said they were doing, how long it would take, and what outcomes they wanted, and well the outcomes seem in line with today's university situation no?

Your right, Russia were the old enemy, but times have changed, they're no longer the power they used to be, for the Dems to keep banging on the Russia drum is just bad optics. China are the new real threat to Republicans, well China and Democrats. It's been a real journey, I don't think anyone is accusing Putin of cosying up to USA, but at the same time, in such a difficult financial climate Republicans are advocating for fiscal responsibility, and they don't understand the benefits of pumping billions into Ukraine etc...

Ultimately though, as I said, if Trump was a Russian asset, why did Russia not benefit from term 1 to any degree? And why did they not make a move then, instead of when Biden got in? Trumps actions in terms 2 have been consistent, the rest of the world is taking the **** out of USA money, and he wants it to stop, and for the USA to become the financial powerhouse it was. Trump's middle east policy seems in line with that, offering deals instead of democracy lol.

I don't think they do, its the exaggeration of the argument used against them. Like I said before I think the Republicans are winning the culture currently, and managed to label Democrats as marxists. BLM was a god send for Republicans longer term.

Found the guy, scary how attitudes in the USA are currently in line with this guys step by step instructions of how to subvert the USA.

Emasculating a generation, make them anti police, capitalism, military, and masculinity, disrupt the nuclear family, make race, and other attributes a defining factor and ultimately creating chaos...

Essentially make most of the population not align with anything, other than attributes that pit some against the others.

Interesting read for anyone willing to.

Yeah, it’s a really stupid thing to say so at least we agree on that.

Helped by the **** tapes and having the POTUS as a key asset. 😉

I would also say a key to implementing something like this would be to create an army of people in the west who think they’re all as bad as each other and constantly both sides everything and basically believe in nothing. Know anyone like that @dirty harry
