Baffled by Irans and Isreals behaviour this morning, it reminded me of 2 little brothers playing a game, mum calling for dinner and one hits the other before shouting truce and running to the kitchen. Both seemed to want to get the last strikes in before a ceasefire.
Trump is heading into a Nato summit, both countries agreed to the truce and Isreal bombs Iran anyway.
Gotta give credit to Trump, he openly criticised Isreal, i didnt see that coming!

the impression ive had looking at the reporting is there was no deal originally, when he first said there was yesterday, Iran immediately came out and said they hadn't agreed to anything....to me it seems Trump just made a statement in the hope everyone would fall in line....like your analogy, he completed his attack then said "Ceasefire".....everyone else wasnt; ready yet

Is this a case of Cuomo putting himself before everything (scandal incoming), Democrats ensuring messaging before November, or is this a Cuomo doing the right thing and avoiding a convoluted infight type battle?!?!

i saw some of the debates, or more fairly the snips of the debates, i found the one about visiting Israel in their first 100 days and Mamdani saying he would be staying in NY working with he cities residents a weird one.....they all talked about it like they needed to go be anointed in the holy land to become mayor....i know there is a huge Jewish population in NY...but it seemed real weird

The influence Israel has over US politics is ridiculous and so out of proportion to their relative power on the world stage.
Americans being convinced that they must do everything they can to assist Israel and that it's gods will they do so it's the single most successful piece of propaganda spread through that country (maybe competing with the idea that trickle down economics works).
Without trying to sound too conspiratol
7.5 millions Jews in USA 2.4% of population, 4.5% of the US population of them qualify for Israeli citizenship. (I dont know why there a number difference if you consider Jews a race).
This ubder half the world's Jewish population with most of the other being Israeli
There are a lot and they are influential block.
Its nothing more complicated than that.
Jewish conspiracy theories go to the bin though.
