What actually happened is we perfectly partitioned the country and then those ungrateful and incompetent natives went and ballsed it all up by doing stupid things like being on the wrong side of the line and not getting on with their neighbours.

I agree, though it is important to put things in historical context.

I just find it very interesting that you probably couldn't find one leftist who could tell you a single fact about how Pakistan was created (and how it was really a lot worse than how Israel was created) but they can give you a whole load of "facts" (some true some not) about Israel and how bad it is. It's almost like we hear a lot more about Israel as it involves Jews.

I’ve also never heard one person say that Pakistan doesn’t have the right to exist. I’ve never heard a Pakistani try and justify why his country should exist. Funny isn’t it.

I guess the Israel thing is ongoing so you could argue it warrants more discussion but you’d have to ask yourself why it’s ongoing so much but when you look at the partition of India once lines were drawn people just accepted it. Not so much with Israel though. Again I suspect this is because you know, Jews.

Well they clearly hate each other but it’s night and day between Israel and Pakistan. That’s my point, the clear discrepancy between the 2 makes me very sad to be honest as it’s very clear why we focus so much more on one than the other.
