A Political Thread pt. 2

I'm more convinced than ever that a Reform Govt would result in a complete collapse across the country based on the lack of calibre, competence and credibility of the shower they have scrambled together.

Even their mayor sounds thick as ****. When thick people vote for clowns you're going to get a circus.

I agree with this, im not sure there are too many hardened supporters who want a Reform government...

However, Labour aren't half making a great job at making them look like the only real option, Tories have collapsed, Badenoch is laughable, and the optics are that Labour despise the poor, want the working classes and middle classes money BAMN, and look longingly at the super rich. They are seen as pitted against the english, ramping up of criminalisation of speech, in court cases on behalf of migrants staying in 4 star hotels, even the flag debacle...

Farage is looking like the adult in the room, and thats dangerous IMO.

You could make an arguement anyone who voted for Bojo was thick, anyone who voted for this Labour government is thick. Anyone who votes Reform is thick.

In all three cases people knew exactly what they will / were going to get yet still voted for them.

I'd caveat that with this Labour government, people were certainly duped by some of their campaign promises.

I think with Reform, let's say they make the next government, your going to get them trying and failing on the promises they are making, whereas Labour certainly show little respect for their pledges.

The number of asylum seekers in hotels has dropped though hasn't it? The thing that keeps being missed by the mob that wants them all kicked out tomorrow is just what exactly they expect to do with them. Let them loose on the streets? If the plan is for them to be stored in some other facility, what exactly are they proposing and do they realistically think it could be set up overnight?

This is the biggest issue with the small boats case, lots of people say they oppose it but have sweet **** all answers for what they would do differently when their claims are challenged.

I think that's the problem across the whole debate. Nobody has a consensus on what the answer is.

It's all well and good saying set up legal and safe routes but some of the countries we do i believe and others we have no returns agreement set up any way. Plus it's pointless if you can still just risk crossing via France illegally if you are not eligible

Then there's not using hotels but HMO's and houses instead. But then people will moan more as the housing stock and affordability/demand is high as it is. It won't help reduce the waiting lists for properties.

Im not sure about dropping numbers, id have to go and check, but I agree, there are no easy answers, just sensible decision making.

But I mean, with the Epping hotel nonsense, how much sense does it make for Labour to put themselves as opposition to the people? Had they played the situation better, they could have aligned themselves with those who are opposed to usage, but they havnt.

Same with Southport, benefits, tax, online speech etc... their attempts to clamp down hard on a certain type of dissent has pushed them into a corner.

Its interesting to hear Labour talking about a new Rwanda style plan...

Always liked them Norwegians

Here we go again, Gretas 2nd attempt to reach Gaza from... Barcelona this time lol.

Shes now giving interviews to Iranian TV, seems a bit suspicious.

For the love of God I hope the Isrealis just leave her be this time, let her delivery her symbolic aid, and let the chips fall as they may.

BBC News - Walkway 'key milestone' for Botley Road timeline - Network Rail - BBC News

Kinda grating that they say they are "on track with the new timeline", ignoring that the new timeline was introduced because they were so far off the mark with the original timelines.

They are not "on track with the new timeline", they are massively over time and over budget with the original.

Widened path for cyclists and pedestrians to share...

Tells cyclists to dismount for over a year, until the road is open. Hahahah

Why?!

Nah, if she’s gone on Iranian TV she can get ******. What a twat.

So this might be the biggest story noone will hear (or potentially care about) this year.

Im currently trawling through advisory documents and teacher guides for those who will be delivering 'incel culture' lessons to young boys...

This is ******* terrifying!!!!!!!

I just read that one of incels beliefs is that they

'believe genetics contribute to their unnatractiveness to females'

And

'With women's dating liberation, and ease of access they choose the same pool of most attractive partners'

Theres also constant content and trigger warnings on every document, and signposting to mental health support if affected by the 'documentary' (******* DOCUMENTARY?!?!?!) Adolescence of issues discussed in the guides.

See above for a small taste of the stupidity that will only do more harm than good IMO!

One of the best things about male privilege is that you can be an ugly fat **** and still pull. Just don’t be weird. Try and be funny and charismatic which the incels obviously struggle with.
