Yeh he's the one I'd recommend in terms of following on tax issues. Former head of tax at Clifford chance but made a bundle and gave it up to set up Tax policy associates.![]()

This guy appears pretty sound on the whole matter. And is followed by a bunch of journalists.
He's done a podcast on bbc sounds as well where he goes into the so called Beatles tax which I found very interesting. Basically they tried to turn income into capital to avoid paying tax at the time. But it came back to bite them in the butt. Moral of story is: never do something just because of tax.
