Harlequins 41-24 Exeter

NO Scorigami

This was the 6th instance of this score

First Game: 5/3/17 Worcester 41-24 Bristol
Last Game: 2/12/23 Bath 41-24 Exeter

So annoying actually that would have took us 9 points clear of 5th with 10 points remaining, now we have Tigers and Sarries with Bristol vs Bath and Sale.

What is the criteria for order in the table if you are on the same points?

God that table with Sarries getting a BP win shows how much Chiefs losing hurt us, both Bristol and Sarries within 5 points of us with 2 tough games to go.

Saracens 30-14 Gloucester

NO Scorigami

First Game: 27/12/00 Saracens 30-14 Harlequins
Last Game: 9/10/16 Saracens 30-14 Wasps

Bristol showing just how important BPs are. One more win than both Exeter and Sarries, yet behind them both.

Scoreline kinda flatters Gloucester

Itoje a well deserved MOTM, his first half was as good as he's looked in years
Earl also excellent

I only watched the first 10 minutes or so before having to sort life admin.

Earl looking good for englands 8 or 7 role? I struggle when people say he’s not a 7 when he plays there week in week out but how does he compare to other 7s or we keep him at 8.

Great player either way.

I imagine he'll probably stay at 8, because who else is there?
CCS has had a middling season and mostly played 4 or 6, Pollock is definitely more of a flanker too

I think if Chessum plays 6 there's no issue with Earl at 8 - it's when we end up with a triple openside backrow you start feeling the mismatch.
Maybe we put Chessum at 8 🤷🏻‍♂️

That said I have a feeling Tom Curry starting at 8 today has the RFUs fingerprints on it

Earl has been great at 8 for England.
Like we have a **** ton of 7's so why put a player who can actually play 8 at the international level (And look at times world class in those games) anywhere else.

I can understand the argument if we didn't have Pepper, Underhill, Pollock, Curry, Curry, Pearson, Kenningham, Ilione as potential options
