Pool 2 (Connacht, Toulouse, Wasps, Zebre)

Wasps giving a lesson in how NOT to close out a game... When will players learn that that stupid 1 out passing results in more penalties and turnovers than normal play?

Love it

Well done there. Wasps will be kicking themselves all the way home.

Brilliant stuff.

Launchbury might well be playing himself to England captain. If he has the grunt he's > Kruis for me (and he's ****ing awesome).

I've been wondering this for a while. Refs clearly see it as negative play and it's passive. If the opposing pack smash the carrier it's what 70/30 on that you'll get your hands on the ball and from there a penalty is a likely. I'd go 1 out in their half but you can use 3 seconds by passing it to the end of the line. Wade boots it out or long if time not done. Always seems odd to me.

I've been thinking of a Hartley replacement as captain and the only come to the answer of lauchberry.

The only issue I see is who calls the lineout, Itoje isn't a lineout caller yet and I don't think lauchberry does.

I said it a few weeks ago on this thread wasps are beatable and the usual leinster/munster brigade weighed in saying connacht werent good enough..keep doubting us lads we will keep tearing it up

Wasps aren't as good as I thought so... Connacht still scrambling for a European spot while Leinster and Munster are all but into the KO stages of Europe and on the top of the pro 12, Connachr will never hit the, fortunate, heights they hit last season again unfortunately.

alpha its comments like that that make me glad im not a leinster fan! fortunare heights ....pffff

Alpha is obviously confident the IRFU will continue to prop up Leinster at the expense of other provinces so they don't ever blow it on the biggest stage against their plucky wee neighbours again :p
