Yeap they look pretty correct to me......I wonder how my favoured Highlanders will go seen as how they have only gone within the provinces of Southland and Otago.

Plus those two, but yes will be interesting.

I think the Hurricanes really have their best ever chance of winning it. They have such great depth, particularly in the backs, they still have Umaga to lead them while Rodney's having a rest. Gopperth will still be available as well, and they have a very favourable draw.

^^^yep yep to wellington....and i wont be suprised if those two outsiders in the highlander team are the best players in that team

I heard Latham is out for the season with knee ligament damage

Step up big President Clinton Shif....................the greatest FB in the WORLD.

I am a TAH, but a RAIDER, and thus if I see Shif with ball in hand, I will only hope he goes well.....gets a Wallaby Jersey, and brings back the Webb Ellis

:bleh!:

Um, weren't you hating Shif just 5 months ago for moving to union??

Anyway. the Brumbies team is very strong this year. The Faingaa twins, Chisholm, Campbell, Hoiles, Gregan, Larkham..... etc.

Here is the list of current Brumbies players to have played for the Wallabies:
Guy Sheperdson
Nic Henderson
Jeremy Paul
Mark Chisholm
Al Campbell
George Smith
Stephen Hoiles
Dan Heenan
George Gregan
Stephen Larkham
Mark Gerrard
Adam Ashley-Cooper
Clyde Rathbone
Stirling Mortlock

That's quality for you!!

Of course I was...not for moving to union but for leaving the Raiders

Mate if he can bring back the Webb Ellis by all means leave the Raiders

Besides we got a good crop of young FB's coming thru.......he was to retire soon anyways, i was just disgusted at his contradictive comments at that point in time when he left

All is forgiven now....especially if he dons the #15 for the Wallabies

I'm still a TAH though............when its REDS v TAHS the president will be impeached :bleh!:

First off, remember he has a shadow writer - also, he's clearly not the sharpest tool in the shed so maybe he just forgot what he said or didn't think people would take so much offence - oh well...

Ooops :p Well, it's about time they made him captain of the Stormers ahead of De Wet Barry lol.
[/b]

Believe me I know, should actually have been a springbok by now but eh what you gonna do.
I could give you some Luke Watsom memes B)

Who cares about those two as far as i am concerned they are playing for the highlanders so they are otago players for the super 14 :D

[/b]

Just remember there is one southland player that cracked the hurricanes team plus one ex southland player :p

What are the big predictions for this year? Will an Aussie or South African team win?

auckland blues baby!........allllllllllllllllllllllllllllll the way...

this is what i see

nuciforia in his second stint as blues coach...ok he tried some different things last year..funny line out formations..less forwards at the ruck and more forwards in the backline...a kicking game(remember auckland rather run from 20 metres from there goal than punt)...more mauls..

it didnt work..and when it did it wasnt effective enough for them to dominate a whole game...so nuci been here and he tried to implement some of his ol brumbie tactics mixed with grass roots nz rugger..it didnt work..hopefully he watches our npc team and previous auckland blues winning sides and figures out that: OUR BEST WEAPON IS "ATTACKING EVERY OPPORTUNITY WITH THE BALL"....it is what it is...dont get me wrong he tried it but with his gameplan mixed in it just didnt settle right at all...

implement the basics again...as complicated as the razzle dazzle looks it only comes natural to auckland teams and auckland players..so there is no need for super fancy backline moves...we are the best freestyle rugby playing producers in the world..let the players use those talents..but focus on basics...focus on defensive basics..dont riddle 10 to 15 on how they should run..trust me..we know how to run with the ball...and tries will come...
hey no lavea will be messing up the ball rotation this time!!!

another gripe is forward play..last year was poor..it was **** poor..it was almost unstructured..it was like he tried to make a structured backline and he let the forwards play razzle dazzle...na ah..we have enough quality ball playing forwards..and we have the ground workers to set them up..let the flow happen..there was almost a limitation of 3 to 4 players at rucks last year..what da f***???...not all our forwards can keep pace with our backs and they get in the way...get them out of the way so they dont mess up the ball players and get them in the rucks...

and my last concern is defence...always the key ingredient for champion teams....defence...

GO AUCKLAND BLUEZ!!!!!!!!

if a south african team wins...i will cure aids
