GAMON CANES!!!
Im a huge Lowe fan.. He's got a kick just as big as daggs, backs up as well as sets up, always looking to make play and just hungrier imo than Julian.I'd choose James Lowe instead of Savea based on his current form for the 11 jersey. He's been making a positive impact during nearly all the matches he's played

Hopefully the boys put on a show!
Wouldn't be surprised if the AB coaches have asked for BBC to have a go at fullback given all the injuries etc.
I kinda doubt that tbh. It's time for Jordie to have a break and Otere deserves a start, so moving Beaudy to FB was a natural move and they probs always planned to do it against the Cheetahs. I doubt the coaches would make selections based on what the ABs coaches want, the comp is too competitive and important to them, I think they just go with what's best for the team.Wouldn't be surprised if the AB coaches have asked for BBC to have a go at fullback given all the injuries etc.
Mate Jordie's a great tackler, if anything it's Beauden who needs the tips...I hope Jordie goes back to his family farm in Taranaki so that his father can teach him a few things on tackles
Beauden was a shy tackler at 15 when he was a Canes debutant. He then worked on his technique and is now much more consistent.Mate Jordie's a great tackler, if anything it's Beauden who needs the tips...
Maybe you're right in terms of the decision making / positioning thing, which is understandable given his lack of experience, but in terms of pure tackling I actually think he's a very good tackler. He seems to have a decent technique, but most importantly he goes hard and from what I've seen doesn't seem afraid to fully commit himself to tackles.Beauden was a shy tackler at 15 when he was a Canes debutant. Jordie is a great tackler at 12, but 15 demands a whole other skillset, the ability to read actions, anticipate two or three phases in advance and then commit 100% in your tackle. As exciting and skillful a prospect Jordie can be, he lacks exactly this. Maybe he can read the game, but in the event of a linebreak, he will hesitate and not fully commit on an attacking threat. If he does his tackle too late, this leaves a lot of room for an offload. If he doesn't know who he should defend, he'll miss his tackle.
He's got a lot to learn in terms of decision making (Ben Smith or his bro can help him about that) and technique wise (his father can teach him how not to let people slip through, he used to be a sound tackler in the blindside)

As a matter of fact I've seen him put in some bloody hard hits, especially at age grade level, he can definitely throw his weight around in defense.
