The Emu command had evidently ordered guerrilla tactics, and its unwieldy army soon split up into innumerable small units that made use of the military equipment uneconomic. A crestfallen field force therefore withdrew from the combat area after about a month."

If you love history and tanks (tick tick for me) then this is definitely something to take an interest in. This was the second King Tiger to ever come off the production line (hence the pre-production turret) was captured by Commonwealth forces in 1945 and has been sat in Bovington ever since. Making this a runner is going to take some doing.

I love how we "captured" it, turned up at field and it was just there.

Tank Museum is great, Dad lives about 20mins away.
