A Political Thread pt. 2

To be fair it was a jokey back and forth and while I am being more serious I think Harry was playing the role of the MAGA response rather than saying his own opinion. That's my charitable reading anyway.

Jesus, you felt the need to caveat that comment?!?! Hahahaha

Greta returns safe and sound, how she survived the bedbugs, the kidnapping, the beatings and Isreal flag I have no idea, but here's to her hopping on the next cruise liner to do it all again.

For god's sake, where is your limit? 6 police officers died in a mob riot egged on by Trump and you "haha" emoji it

I don't believe for a moment that you actually work with mentally ill teenagers as you claim, but if you do, I want a word with your local authority

He's one of them

Good luck ya *****. We've seen the auditorium pictures at your conference, heard what Bad Enoch and Jenrick said recently and can see the desolation around us after you crashed us into a wall for 14 years.

I feel this is one aspect of our democracy where voters are partly to blame. They are so fickle and only focus on what's relevant at the moment that it allows politicians to change policy and views at the drop of the hat with little accountability.

Its worse than that why cant they see Farage is selling the same **** Johnson was?

Therefore they are all the same. Checkmate. Well played.

Not the same, but lets be honest, with Johnson and Starmer those were probably the biggest flip flops of positions during a campaign since Nick Clegg...

If the last labour government and last Tory government have absolutely lost the trust of the public, wheres the risk in giving Farage a crack?

Yeah holds no bone with me. There's a difference between Starmer managing the hand he'd been delt with and not instantly doing thing. And bear faced it will never happen.

Incidentally this tracker is fascinating and show despite opinion the government 1.5 years in is probably doing an okay job against their manifesto.

I sometimes think your average voter would rather have a 'bit of a character' or in other words a lazy incapable bullshitting gobshite in charge of the country than a serious politician.

I also think Rachel Reeves wouldn't get nearly as much stick if she looked and sounded like Ken Clarke or Gordon Brown. People think she's doing a bad job because she's increasing taxes but they fail to realise that fiscal prudence (typically a Tory thing) is actually badly needed after the Tories left a monumental mess. Labour's biggest mistake was their manifesto promise on not raising taxes. They didn't need to do it and would have romped home regardless.
