But we need to give companies tax breaks so they invest in the country. It's not like private companies are making hugely obscene profits for their investors.

Honestly yes. As much as I really hate what they are doing in Gaza, their actions against Hezbollah, Huthies and Iran have been well executed, well targeted and probably necessary. One military commentator on MSNBC saying that Israel's end game is regime change in Iran and they're going for it now as they think Iran's capability has been sufficiently degraded. Looks like Netanyahu is going for broke.
Yesterday's attack was v sophisticated and has been planned for years with Israel smuggling drones etc. through Lebanon and Syria into Iran after attacking Hezbollah last year.

I do wonder what the Russians have given Iran in exchange for all those drones and missiles. Hope is not a few unstable, rotting old soviet warheads.
