She's also partly at fault for being so strict on her rules and her headroom figures.Labour still paying the price for their pre-election no tax rises pledge which they didn't need to do considering how desperate people were to turf out the Tories. They'd still have won comfortably even with a low/modest income tax increase. The Tories were being fiscally irresponsible by promising tax cuts the country couldn't afford and Labour got sucked in.
