I will just jump in as someone that travels from NZ/Aus to the UK petty regularly....those statement seem to be on "advice" pages rather than actual warnings...and there is a difference, asked around a few people and no one seemed to think London was any worse than its ever been (huge city with good bits and bad bits) and or with the same adjustment the whole world gets at the moment for being a dumpster fireWow.
