On free speech, it not freedom from Consequences people also have the right to not listen or platform you (platform is slightly diffrent when it comes to democratic elected people but it should relative to your "potential" power).
If your speech is designed to attack minorities, incite hatred or do harm to other then yes it needs to be policed to some degree. The threshold must be high thought.

Whole things a mess tbh. Both sides playing a system of using what they find 'offensive' to use it to attack others and abusing the legal system to do it.
You now have cases taken against the police for not taking action on people's 'tweets' or disagreement with 'no further action'.
The resources you'd need to 'police' social media properly would be ridiculous.

It's less I think it does not need looking into just i what was prompting ot was thw arrest of known agitatiors and arseholes.

I don't care about his history, bad people should be allowed as free speech as anyone else, but this is very valid. These are his claims upon post arrest interview

Which is why free speech is necesary. When the threshold is as low as it currently is, especially with regards to things like hate crimes based on potential victim perception, people are incentivosed to make reports!
I think it's a mess by design!
Yeah it's a weird one. On this allegedly and based on pure rumours the complaint was made by a known Trans activist who has an issue with gender critical beliefs and has used the system a number of times to take action on those who disagree.
Don't think it's helped with everyone throwing the Police under the bus on all this.
