Errr, excuse me, how is me saying good for her some kind of slight?
You were flirting with a dangerous line and you know it.

People reached out to my DMs commenting directly on your personal accusation around me being anti semitic and then connecting my wife’s America. jewish identity to what’s going on in Israel.

If you did this in person, it would have escalated to violence immediately.

Oh my days, what a ******* snowflake. I said good for her as in, you know, good for her. The rest is what you are reading into it. I was genuinely interested to hear about any discussions you have had about the whole conflict. I get the impression you know **** all about my views on the topic.

Well how very un American of you. Resorting to violence because of words. Good job if wasn’t in person otherwise you would’ve been looking at a law suit or possibly some jail time.

I will never be able to think of you differently now

I already stated my views of the Israel/Gaza conflict: It's too complicated for me to understand. She's never been to Israel. It's also a weird double standard that American Jews are expected to have strong opinions on Israel

I have lots of French and Italian heritage. No one has ever asked my opinions on anything related to the governments in those countries.

As for violence, we are an extremely violent culture. We had a Civil War. And if I ever started talking about your wife in public -- or anyone's wife -- I hope I get my ass kicked. People get killed for far, far less in Chicago every single day. FAFO

I think reacting to violence because of words is pathetic let alone for paying your wife a compliment. Jesus.

I knew your views and was interested to hear if she had any. For all I know she’s not a religious Jew. She may be an atheist or not political in anyway which of course is absolutely fine. I think you’re being a bit sensitive.

I think you mean violent offending, whether reactive or pre planned.

There is no link between intelligence and violence in general that im aware.
Here you go. There are a number of studies about IQ and violence. Particularly in relation to reactive violence. (Not read it all)

Which is also linked to lack of communication skills

Stop it, you're dragging the thread back into seriousness. I'm still waiting for evidence that christianity invented humanity.
Wasn't that evolution and science,

I've watched the movie Paul.

Christianity just stole ideas to appease the peasants and gullible till science came along

Not that I have a problem with anyone having Faith or man's want to believe there is more to life.

It's just followers of Jesus can't prove there anymore right than people who are Muslim.

Wasn't Paul about a weird alien?

Anyway ChicagoKid is a world renowned expert on humanity, history and all things religious. If he says christianity invented basic humanity then I'm sure it is just a matter of time until he produces evidence. I'm not entirely sure what bated means but my breath is bated.

This is a good starter:

The Catholic Church has 2,000 years of records discussing the idea of individual human dignity. This is the basis for human rights.

Here are the results of 1,700 years of ideation and debate on what rights are, universal humanity and where it comes from, and how humans can create the conditions for human flourishing: https://www.archives.gov/founding-docs/declaration-transcript

And now the USA is the oldest democracy in the world: https://www.weforum.org/stories/global-cooperation/countries-are-the-worlds-oldest-democracies/

It looks like the USA has been a democracy for nearly 100+ longer than the United Kingdom. As a little brother, you have much to learn from us.

You didn't read the article from the World Economic Forum, did you?

  • Executive:
The executive is directly or indirectly elected in popular elections and is responsible either directly to voters or to a legislature.
  • Legislature:
The legislature (or the executive if elected directly) is chosen in free and fair elections.
  • Voting:
A majority of adult men has the right to vote.

Y'all barely squeaked into the Top 5.

The catholic church didn't create those ideas. As has already been pointed out, they existed centuries before christianity even became a thing.

And a country that still had segregation in the 2nd half of the 20th century and didn't give blacks a practical vote until 1965 can't really lecture on democracy.

One day you might want a job and they'll drag this stuff up.

1.) The Catholic Church created numerous ideas, but you don't know much about church history based on your posts. Bishop Barron has numerous videos on this. You can watch them and learn.

Here's a place to start to educate yourself: https://www.vatican.va/content/leo-...nts/hf_l-xiii_enc_15051891_rerum-novarum.html

Claiming you had democracy 57 years before you allowed black people to vote 🤨
2.) I'm sorry you disagree with the World Economic Forum. Maybe you could go to Davos and debate their list?

Step 1: State a fact.

Step 2: TRF neckbeards: SOURCE? SOURCES? ACKUTALLY, I THINK...

Step 3: Post source.

Step 4: WAH WAH WAH WAH I DISAGREE WITH THAT SOURCE.

I guess we know why it's so hard to fix: You have to fix the electorate first.
