Again, as j'nuh has said, no-one is saying that In haven't overstated things, we all know Cameron and Osborne love a good "Project Fear" campaign strategy.e However, they have gone through the proper channels, and forecasted figures such as this rather than blindly chucked out any old figure, like the Leave campaign have been doing. We've even seen Boris and Gove in "Vote Leave" saying different figures to Farage in "Grassroots Out"...
And anyway, even if it is as you say, and these types of figures won't be truly shown until a number of years after a potential Brexit, why does that make them not relevant? I'm gonna hope that myself and many others will still be knocking about in 15 years to feel the full effects of the referendum, no matter the results!
Either way, it's fairly clear that the Out camp has being doing the bigger share of bullsh*tting as they simply do not have as many straight facts to fall back on! I mean jesus, the £350million per week figure emblazoned on the side of their "Battlebus" has already been proven to be rubbish, and I swear independent bodies have requested that they stop using it! The sheer amount of mis-information circling is crazy.
To re-iterate, the In campaign are guilty of this as well, but at least they're able to show their reasoning behind the facts and figures they're bringing up.
Also, definitely getting frustrating to see people constantly bringing in Germany into it like they're the overlords of the EU. They might be the biggest EU country, biggest contributors and all that, but they do not rule the EU, nor are they trying to? Some of the comments I've seen on Facebook about the Germans have been straight up xenophobic, which is just disheartening to see.
