Air New Zealand Cup Mod

This is an 08 roster file? or for 06?

I think this will do actually. It can be used as a base.

I will get on to editing the Manawatu and Northland teams - possibly sometime tommorrow.
Ill look at replacing the French or Italian club teams.
 
Hey everyone it's actually not gonna take me as long as I thought to make the Air New Zealand Cup kits overwrite the NH teams. So I'm gonna try do it all today to suit B-rad's roster I've already done 5 teams only took about 20-25min so yeah shouldn't take too long to do the rest of them. Will upload them as soon as I finish them but it's like 4am and I just got back from working nightshift so yeah gonna get some sleep and maybe some time after lunch I'll upload my kits.

There's just a few little changes that need to be made to the roster but for now it works perfectly and until we find out the lineups for 2008 I think this roster will be the best to use for the patch.

Can I quickly suggest something. We add northland and remove Counties from the patch. The poll is showing great support for removing Counties.
 
I've managed to overwrite 11 teams from NH teams. So far I've done Auckland, Wellington, Canterbury, North Harbour, Southland, Otago, Manukau, Waikato, Hawkes Bay, Tasman and Bay of Plenty.

I've used B-rad's roster as a bases so download that on page 4 it'll also show you which NH teams have been replaced with ANZ cup teams.

Remember it's just the home kits I've made so make sure it's on home kit when you go to play. Here's the link to my kits they're not finished but just something to muck around with til further work is done on the patch.

B-rad pretty good roster. One or two minor glitches with Afoa and MacDonald being on two teams but the rest of ANZ cup pretty good. International a bit mucked up though. Way too many stars.

It'll take some work but I reckon we should start soon. Unfortunatly this isn't like Brian Lara Cricket where you can export and import teams which made it soo much easier to make rosters.

I havn't really had time to look at the ratings yet.

I have done a bit more work on the roster. Manawatu and Northland are now complete.
Northland - replaces Treviso
Manawatu - replaces Brescia

The Northland players are now loaded into the database, so you can remove Counties and replace them with Northland if need be.
I have also removed a few stars from some players.

P.S, I couldn't find two more players to add to the Southland Team, hence T.Koonwaiyou and C.King - who are in the 2008 squad appear in two teams.

Awesome B-rad this is exactly what I need. Thanks again for the effort and I'll try get the other 2 teams added unfortunately I couldn't do Taranaki as I can't seem to edit their big file. Rosters awesome some of the ratings might need adjusting but still working great thanks alot.

I'll release my Anz Cup kits with 13 teams maybe sometime tommorow morning. If someone has a fresh Northhampton.big could they send it to me so I can do the Taranaki kit.
 
There is one last thing that we need to do in this patch. Actually three. Firstly the .RDF file that is supplied with B-rad's stuff posted above goes in the root folder, not in the my documents folder. I don't know what the file does, but when I overwrited the old .RDF in the root folder all the jerseys started to work, so kudos to B-rad.

We also have to do minikits. I could find out how to do them if you want and then do them. If so please ask.

rdf. file is to make a default roster. It needs to go into the directory, rather than a roster folder. This means that if you load world league, you will have updated players, not the old ones, i think.
 
I have done a bit more work on the roster. Player ratings have been adjusted. Northland have been swapped with Counties Manukau and Guinness Premiership is now the Air NZ Cup.

I am still doing a bit of work on the .eng file - so this is a WIP. (Hence, 2 x Air NZ Cup tournaments).
Im gonna have a go at editing the tournament files and stadium names in the next update. I am also collecting Logo's for all the respective teams and may have a go at replacing them.
 
Sounds good B-rad. EVOL released the ANZ cup logo's in the downloads section, it may be useful. I got really down to detail with your roster and made a few changes in stats. Most notably i made changes to a many players stats and made Anthony Tuitivake slower... So here is the slightly modified version of you patch.

TO PUBLIC: It would be wise not to download any of these components yet as they are small fragments of the patch and we are unsure about what stuff we will use. Wait until everything is finalised, it would mean less work for you and a better overall patch for you!
 
I have further edited B-rad's base roster and now done kicking, captains, set plays, team ratings and team performance. Team performance is the most important as it was based off the old european teams. That means that as Tasman was based off the London Wasps, they would have come second pretty much every single time! (assuming you come first) because the Wasps performance was 1. Anyway here it is:

Hey it's has been requested that I reverse the kits of Northland Taniwha & Counties Manukau Steelers so that the Taniwha replace Newcastle and the Steelers replace Treviso so here it is.

This patch is gonna be awesome everyones been doing some really good work keep it up guys and thanks for all the hard work it is greatly appreciated.
 
I successfully found a way to change the team logos In game and during the selection menus. I am currently in the process of finishing them off. I have also added 8 Currie Cup teams onto the roster. Now, all we will need is team minikits. When I finish with the logos, I will post the relevant files.

In my already modded rugby 08 in the world cup only low teams like Canada nambia reaches the quarter finals instead of south Africa NZ etc
