Best Ever Tackles

in my opinion i made the best tackle ever this april, when after a quick penalty i was 3 meters from the 9 of the other team. he got the ball and start run against me.. ok i wasnt in lecit position but i just duck, grab him and stand up! lol i smashed him :) i like gavin's tackle on tait in england vs wales in 6n '05, that lima's tackle on the southafrican man, the tackle dubois TRIED to do on bergamasco : dubois taked off the field kind of death XD

Has to be Lima's tackle on Hougaard. That was just insane.

And I know this isn't really a tackle but I remember seeing a video of Jonah Lomu running straight over the top of the Wales fullback whose name escapes me at the moment but it may as well have been tackle for how whacked he got.

I remember one in the Euro Challenge Cup semi: Luke McAlister on <strike>Fat</strike> Matt Stevens. Stevens is a huge player yet Luke drove him back, what, 4 or 5 metres?

I saw one off Sitiveni Sivivatu during Super 14.
He just flipped the guy and was send to the bench for 10 minutes :D Awesome but also incredible painfull, I reckon

One of my favourite tackles is not a big hit, but a chance taken when offered.

It happened at twickenham during the 03 6N. Ben Cohen had just had a try disallowed. There was a scrum to scotland, when Bryan Redpath attempted to kick the ball well away from Englands try line Matt Dawson tap-tackled his ankle. Mr Redpath landed on his rear, the ball ,now free, was picked up by Ben Cohen, who got the try.
