My favourite tackle was the hit Butch James put on Mortlock last year in Tri Nations!!!! HUGE!!!!! Mortlock running at fall pace and Butch smacked him backwards!

As a match changing tackle i can think of two in club rugby.



Rodber on Tuigimala in the Tetley's cup ('98 i think). Stopped a big guy in his tracks, changed the game and put saints on their way to beating the champions elect.



Tuilagi on some poor Swansea centre in a HC quarter final. It was two minutes in and the Welsh player got well and truly mullered. the real impact was that for the rest of the match none of the Swansea outside backs could catch the ball for the rest of the match if a big samoan was anywhere nearby.



in International: you'll go a long way before finding a more perfect textbook tackle than Wilkinson v Ntamack in Paris. Was that the last time England won there?

On the youtube page for each vid, you'll see there's an 'embed video' link (unless the video's owner has disabled it). Copy the URL. Then, select HTML On from the drop down menu under the posting window and paste the URL into your post.

I especially love the third one. Ben Tune just gets plastered. The second one is fairly epic as well, who said Jonah Lomu couldn't tackle?

My favourite tackle is Jerry Collins on Thinus Delport in the '03 RWC.

The best tackle I have ever seen (even as painful remembering as it is) is Georege Gregan's try saver on Jeff Wilson in the Bledisloe (1994 I think it was).
