Looks like the Stormers will need 4 wins out of 4 now to make the play offs, im worried about the Canes game <_<

Just a lil info on that game. Cold front is passing over Cape Town tonight, so there's a 80% chance of rain tomorrow, max. temp 17C and min. temp 11C (that's pretty cold for this time of the year).

The Hurricanes weren't that convincing in the rain when they drew against the Sharks, so there's hope yet!

Stephen Donald to me has to be close to a AB's call up, he's been in great form of late!

Anyways, Crusaders just got the old shut downs, lucky to get that try that Ellis got. Nasi Manu didn't need to stretch his arm out for him to score that try thats why he lost it.

you got to be kidding i haven't seen anybody so inconsistant like him since carlos spencer 1 or 2 great games then utter crap for a hand full! but with carter maybe going offshore he will get 2nd spot behind
nick evans. but not to take away from the chiefs they had a bloody fantastic game last night. hate to be
the blues faceing a crusaider backlash next week.

Hmm im not sure of Donald, until about 3 or 4 games ago he had a terrible season. Has to be Evans for me with, Gopperth on the bench. [/b]

What lol?

I'm gonna let that comment pass because you're not a NZer and thus you wouldn't know any better.

Donald did start off horribly, much like the Chiefs. BUt he has gotten better as the season has pregressed. Much like last year. Donald will almost certainly be in the ABs this year as he does what a good Five Eigth should. He can run hard, kick long and kick goals. IF he has a good kicker outside of him he plays much better too.

Gee what a result.. good for the rest of the log tho.. Go chiefs! Tm hopin the sharks are gonna get another away win against the brumbies. What position do you guys think steyn should play?

So that basically means the ABs are f***ed if evans gets injured. I'd even consider Weepu before Donald and Gopperth.

He's superb at 12,13 and 15 (all positions I have seen him play). I would choose him at 12 though, he has one of the best boots in the world which will somewhat relieve his no. 10 of most of the kicking duties, has brilliant distribution skills which compliment his vision for future attacking movements and can run and defend quite well.

Obviously these traits will serve him well in all 3 positions but IMO, to have a no. 12 with such a complete package is a luxury. Maybe de Villiers can play at 13 for the Boks, with Steyn inside him that would be pretty mean (not to mention Chavanga/Habana outisde).

well, thank you brumbies, they did us a great favour...great game played with heart in the second half, and without one of their leaders stirling mortlock.
for the sharks, I think michalak is too much "posh" for the S14 rugby, he was often sent to the widest side of the defense to save him from the wild center battle.
anyway, sharks loss is a good news for deans' company, in this cruSADers day...

Dunno about Michalak, he's not afraid of the big guys usually, doesn't miss that much tackles, considering he's barely 80kgs. The problem is (imo) more a total lack of organisation and composure when on attack.

Well I just hope we can recover and step it up against Auckland because even though they haven't been playing the greatest they always step it up against us.
