possibly in wet conditons it might help grip the ball a bit better but then again maybe it does nothing and just looks cool.

4 body types????
there's obviously a front rowers body
a lock's body shape
a loose forwards which is different from a locks

thats 3 body shapes already!!! that sux! hopefully u can unlock new body types... maybe the weight will make the body look different????

Yeah those padlocks are on FIFA 2005 as well, but that is just on the Player Randomizer section. If you highlight any one of these you can go into that section and alter things about it - e.g. click on "Nose" and you can change the height, position, protrusion, width etc. of the nose

I don't think this has anything to do with unlockables.
