Kieran Keane appointed new Connacht Head Coach

Can anyone provide an example of a coach aged 60+ in recent years who has taken on a new side and had success at a decent level? The sport has evolved so much in the past 10 years. What was a successful gameplan then is a recipe for failure now. Fair to say I'm not optimistic. :p

Kieran Keane unappointed as Connacht head coach.

Word is he lost the clubs and the dressing room. I guess he wasn't just being grumpy boots with the meeja.

He faired about as well as I expected really (see post above), although I thought Connacht showed some promise at times in the season despite their struggles at 10 & 13. But if you can only put 47 on Leinster then you have to face the consequences. :p
