Kits 2014/2015

I like that Tigers kit, nice and simple - though i think their kits are moving away form them being allowed to be called the tigers :).

Amazed the Canterbury logo is on the shoulder and not the chest...

Apart from the fact theres no green red and white tiger?

I dont mind it even if it looks like they forgot the red and white and all they had in the room as a couple of felt tip pens and a ruler

ha! of course!

yes, but they were called the tigers because their shirts were striped... the stripes are pretty non-existent on this shirt - still a nice shirt though and even without the (obvious) stripes it looks Leicester.

Pretty sure the name tigers was because of the Leicester regiment which got the nickname Tigers in india. Well that is what senior members of the tigers community have told me.

TBH not the worst CCC kit we have had, I like the logos on the shoulder.

Apparently the Away kit is much more out there.

Didn't know that, sounds plausible... So I stand corrected.

I like the CCC's logo on the shoulder but the stripes would have to be thicker. I hope all CCC teams use the logo on the shoulders, it's very cute.

I heard something about it being used in a "double header" game, but I wasn't aware of them being involved in any?

Are the northern teams doing one this year?

A bit OT, but that could be a cool idea: three double headers to get the season underway.

There is a preseason double header at Welford Road @ Friday August 26th:
The games are
Leicester Tigers V Doncaster RUFC @ 17:00
Leicester Tigers v Cardiff Blues @ 19:30

Just saw the kit is being officially shown then.

Are they putting out two separate sides?

I'm gonna guess that if it's orange and black it'll be an overtly tiger-like design, either hoops or faux tiger stripes.

Apparently it is a out there shirt and will either be loved or loathed so I am guessing it is more a tigers design (am hoping an West Tigers type design), our white jersey will be the Euro shirt, shame as I like the black top, but I guess the orange and black would mean to much black with that..

Yeh 2 separate teams I think.

Think the teams will look like this:
V Cardiff
1) Rizzo
2) Youngs
3) Mulipola
4) Slater
5) Parling
6) Croft
7) Salvi
8) Crane
9) Youngs
10) Burns
11) Goneva
12) Allen
13) Manu
14) Morris
15) Tait

16) Ghiraldini
17) Bristow
18) Balmain
19) Kitchener
20) Barberi
21) Mele
22) Bai
23) Scully/Loamanu

V Doncaster
1) Brugnara
2) Briggs
3) Pasquali
4) Deacon
5) De Cheves
6) Mafi
7) Owen
8) Gibson
9) Harrison
10) Bryant
11) Scully/Loamanu
12) Hepetema
13) Pohe
14) Thompstone
15) Hamilton

16) Thacker
17) Sio
18) ?
19) De Cheves
20) Milne
21) Tresidder
22) Catchpole (Hepetema maybe 10 cover)

Would be happy seeing those teams play.

Just a wild shoot in the dark really at possible teams.
