My opinion on...

Frankenstein, the story/book I mean.

I am studying the gothic genre and Frankenstein in my A level English course, and have read about a chapter already.

It is a hard book to take in, and will take an age to finish.

What are your opinion's on Frankenstein? Have you read it? You like?

It's an anti-science book. Mary Shelly had genuine fears of the experiments with dead bodies that were going on at the time and wrote the book as a warning. It is telling us not to go against God.

I'm up to about chapter 3, its very hard to understand.

I might start on Dracula aswell, more understandable.

And imagine a 19yr old writing that book(Frankenstein) Jeeze, probably because she went to a posh school, either that or her children...I forget.
