New additions for Cotter?

Was browsing the Internet and noticed that in 6 months time, Josh Strauss and WP Nel are eligible for Scotland, just in time for World Cup.

I only watch Rugby during 6 Nations so don't know anything about these 2 lads.

So, 2 questions for fans of Glasgow.

1) What position do these lads play?

2) Are they better than what we have, who would they be competing with in regards to being picked for Scotland?

Also a question for fans of Scotland.

Are there any more players eligible to play for Scotland

Kevin Locke was only one I knew about but SRU saying move is off but interestingly the move was close because Locke and SRU held talks but couldn't come to an agreement. SOURCE: The Daily Mail.

Strauss plays No8 for Glasgow and what I have seen of him play in the pro 12(on the TV) I recon he would

As I understand it Edinburgh also have the following that can play for Scotland
Allan Dell - prop
Simon Berghan - tighthead prop
James Hilterbrand - hooker
Nick McLennan - Stand-off/centre/full-back
Alex Toolis - lock
